Clean, quiet & cheap
Parking is very tight, lights are left on all night and the blinds don't block it out, noise of trucks from main road is constant and coal trains run all night which are loud and screeching. My carpet had dry mud stuck to it, they didn't service my room. Bed is hard pillows are lumpy. Mine workers leave early so don't bother trying to sleep in... There are better options in muswellbrook for accommodation than this insomniac chamber they call a motel. The only thing I would boast about is the shower, hence the 1 star.
The bed was hard.... The hot water was nice and hot.
Small, not what you would call eye candy either but the room was tidy and had all the features of any normal room (and a microwave which is a plus). As a fifo worker i have stayed in many motels. For the price it is def worth it.I liked the room and recommend it.
We stayed in room 4, definitely a budget room that was more like a mine workers' cabin. Small, timber room with aging fittings and bathroom. The noise from the highway on one side and the railway on the other was still not as bad as the air conditioner that we had to leave turned off. But you get what you pay for and the room was clean and the bed comfortable. For a quick stopover, it was acceptable.
